Job Summary

The Department of Radiology at BC Children's Hospital is seeking an accomplished pediatric radiologist to advance the research, academic, and clinical pillars of the department. As Department Head, you will ensure that the clinical, educational, and research roles of the department are achieved in accordance with the purpose, vision, and goals of BCCH and PHSA, as well as those of the Faculty of Medicine, University of British Columbia.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive the planning and delivery of medical services based on the needs of the department, the hospital, and the province to align with PHSA's overall strategy.
  • Work in collaboration with other medical leaders in the hospital and Health Authorities within BC to enable improved patient outcomes and experiences.
  • Deliver and manage medical programs, including quality, safety, and medical staff development and support within the department.

Qualifications

  • Eligibility for medical licensure in the Province of British Columbia.
  • Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada certification in Diagnostic Radiology.
  • Completion of a recognized fellowship in Pediatric Radiology or Pediatric Neuroradiology.

Desirable Qualifications

  • Demonstrated leadership in clinical research, education, or quality improvement.
  • At least 10 years of advancing leadership experience.
