Operations Manager Role at Kawakubo Sushi Sake Organic

We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to join our team at Kawakubo Sushi Sake Organic. As an Operations Manager, you will be responsible for analyzing budgets to boost and maintain our restaurant's profits, developing budgets to determine the cost of food, ingredients, alcohol, kitchen, and cleaning supplies, and evaluating daily operations to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities
  • Budget Analysis and Development: Analyze budget to boost and maintain the restaurant's profits, and develop budget to determine cost of food, ingredients, alcohol, kitchen, and cleaning supplies.
  • Daily Operations Evaluation: Evaluate daily operations to ensure efficiency and effectiveness, and monitor revenues to determine labor cost.
  • Staff Management: Monitor staff performance, plan and organize daily operations, recruit staff, set staff work schedules, and train staff.
  • Customer Service: Address customers' complaints or concerns, and ensure health and safety regulations are followed.
  • Support for Newcomers and Refugees: Assist with immediate settlement needs of newcomers and/or refugees, and support social and labor market integration of newcomers and/or refugees.
  • Support for Indigenous People: Offer mentorship, coaching, and/or networking opportunities for Indigenous workers, develop and maintain relationships with indigenous communities, indigenous-owned businesses, and organizations, and provide cultural competency training and/or awareness training to all employees.

Requirements

  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience
