As a key member of our accounting department, you will be responsible for preparing and maintaining accurate financial records, including calculating and preparing cheques for payroll, calculating fixed assets and depreciation, and maintaining general ledgers and financial statements.

Key Responsibilities:

* Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll
* Calculate fixed assets and depreciation
* Maintain general ledgers and financial statements
* Post journal entries
* Prepare other statistical, financial and accounting reports
* Prepare tax returns
* Prepare trial balance of books
* Reconcile accounts

Requirements:

* College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years
* or equivalent experience
* Basic security clearance
* Ability to work independently
* Attention to detail
* Fast-paced environment
* Overtime required
* Repetitive tasks
* Tight deadlines
* Work under pressure

Working Conditions:
