The Khushwant Singh Personal Real Estate Corporation is seeking a skilled Financial Clerk to join our team. As a Financial Clerk, you will be responsible for various accounting tasks including calculating and preparing cheques for payroll, calculating fixed assets and depreciation, and maintaining general ledgers and financial statements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare cheques for payroll and ensure accurate payment processing
  • Calculate fixed assets and depreciation to ensure accurate financial reporting
  • Maintain general ledgers and financial statements to ensure up-to-date records
  • Post journal entries and reconcile accounts to ensure accuracy
  • Prepare statistical, financial, and accounting reports as required

In addition to these responsibilities, the Financial Clerk will also provide awareness training to employees on creating a welcoming work environment for persons with disabilities, newcomers, refugees, youth, veterans, Indigenous people, and visible minorities.

We are offering a competitive salary of $40,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience. The successful candidate will work 30-40 hours per week and will have access to various benefits including diversity and cross-cultural trainings, staff wellness programs, and more.
