About the Opportunity
We are seeking a skilled Nurse Practitioner to join our team at Shannex Incorporated. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and leading our healthcare services.
Key Responsibilities
- Assessing, planning, evaluating, documenting, and directing patient needs through consultation with medical professionals, care conferences, and team members;
- Providing leadership to healthcare services staff and overseeing the provision of quality healthcare services respecting patient rights to individualized planning of healthcare services;
- Working with existing management and healthcare services teams to promote communication and compliance to policies and procedures;
- Assisting with the development, implementation, and evaluation of patient care plans;
- Administering and recording prescribed medication as per company policy and scope of practice;
- Applying dressings and treatments according to physician's orders and policy;
- Assisting with supervision and evaluation of job performance of care staff;
About You
We are looking for a candidate who possesses a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and is currently registered with the Nurses Association of New Brunswick (NANB). You should have a strong ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Previous supervisory and leadership experience is considered a strong asset.
