About the Role:
This is an exciting opportunity for a candidate who can work effectively within an interdisciplinary team to provide holistic palliative care, patient/family support, and education. If you have current experience with Palliative Care and Oncology, we encourage you to apply.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide quality patient and family-centered care while reflecting the shared vision and values of AHS.
- Work collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team to provide holistic care.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of patients.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care.
- Participate in ongoing education and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge.
Requirements:
- Completion of an accredited practical nurse education program.
- Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of Alberta (CLPNA).
- Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP).
Preferred Qualifications:
As required.
