About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Baker to join our team at Duo Cafe. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for preparing and baking a variety of sweet and savory goods.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare dough for pies, bread, rolls, and sweet goods, as well as batters for muffins, cookies, and cakes, according to recipes or special customer orders.
  • Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed.
  • Bake mixed dough and batters to perfection.
  • Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food.
  • Frost and decorate cakes and baked goods to a high standard.
  • Draw up production schedules to ensure efficient use of time and resources.
  • Inspect kitchen and food service areas to maintain high standards of cleanliness and quality.
