Peregrine Express is seeking a skilled Courier Delivery Driver to join our team. As a key member of our courier service, you will be responsible for safely transporting packages and ensuring timely delivery to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate and drive automobiles, vans, and light trucks to pick up and deliver various items and products.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and professionalism in all interactions.
  • Receive and relay information to central dispatch, ensuring seamless communication.
  • Keep accurate records of items received and delivered, maintaining a high level of organization.
  • Load and unload goods, demonstrating physical stamina and attention to detail.
  • Sort packages for delivery, prioritizing efficiency and accuracy.
  • Utilize maps and other trip planning aids to optimize routes and reduce delivery times.
  • Record trip information, including vehicle mileage, fuel costs, and any issues encountered.
  • Perform administrative tasks, such as data entry and reporting.
  • Conduct pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections, ensuring the vehicle is in good working condition.
Requirements:
  • Class 5/5F/G Licence (cars, small trucks, and other 2-axle vehicles).
  • Valid driver's licence and a clean driving record.
  • Basic security clearance and a criminal record check.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
  • Physical stamina to handle heavy loads and work in a physically demanding role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a client-focused approach.
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic work environment.
