About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Retail Store Supervisor to join our team at Marble Slab Creamery & Poko Popcorn Prince George. As a key member of our retail team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our store, ensuring exceptional customer service, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision
    • Supervise and train sales staff to ensure they are equipped to provide excellent customer service and meet sales targets.
    • Assign tasks and duties to sales staff to ensure efficient store operations.
  • Inventory Management
    • Organize and maintain inventory levels to ensure optimal stock levels and minimize waste.
  • Customer Service
    • Ensure exceptional customer service by responding to customer inquiries and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Store Operations
    • Oversee the daily operations of the store, including opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and security.
  • Performance Management
    • Monitor sales performance and provide feedback to sales staff to improve sales growth.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a retail supervisory role.
  • Skills
    • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
    • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
    • Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
