Food Service Team Lead

We are seeking a skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Tim Hortons. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our kitchen, ensuring that food and service meet our high quality standards.
Key Responsibilities- Establish and implement efficient methods to meet work schedules and deadlines.
- Requisition food and kitchen supplies to maintain optimal inventory levels.
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that all tasks are completed to a high standard.
- Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to maintain a safe and healthy work environment.
- Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation, minimizing waste and excess.
- Hire and manage food service staff to ensure a skilled and motivated team.
- Monitor and maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage to inform business decisions.
- Supervise and check the assembly of trays and delivery of food trolleys to ensure timely and efficient service.
The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment, often under pressure to meet deadlines and maintain high standards. The role requires physical stamina, with regular walking and standing.
Requirements- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team.
- Flexibility and adaptability to meet changing business needs.
