About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Retail Sales Associate to join our team at Bhavani Associates Ltd. as a Cashier.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate Cash Register: Accurately process transactions, handle customer payments, and maintain a clean and organized cash handling area.
  • Scan Items: Effectively scan products, manage inventory, and maintain a high level of product knowledge.
  • Provide Excellent Customer Service: Greet customers, respond to their inquiries, and resolve any issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Stock Shelves and Clean Counter Area: Maintain a clean and organized store environment, restock shelves, and ensure a positive shopping experience for customers.
  • Verify Age for Age-Restricted Products: Verify the age of customers when selling age-restricted products, such as lottery tickets, alcohol, or tobacco products.
  • Work Term and Hours: This is a permanent position with a typical workweek of 30-40 hours.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of retail experience or equivalent.
