We are offering a competitive signing bonus of $1,000.00
Job Responsibilities
- Service – Wet, dry, pre-action systems, small renovations that require modifications. Troubleshoot systems that are not in proper operation. Make applicable repairs and ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Contracts – Install new systems in both retro and new builds. Coordinate with onsite trades, track and order materials, follow safety procedures and report on any incidents.
- Inspection – Inspect, test all applicable systems (fire pumps, hydrants, different alarm valves and devices) to ensure they are functioning correctly.
- Maintain knowledge of codes and standards, including those related to fire protection and safety.
Requirements
- Certification as a Fire Protection Technician (specifically, Sprinkler/Standpoint System) is required.
- Red Seal Journeyperson Sprinkler Fitter is preferred.
- The position is a unionized position.
- A valid driver's license with a clean abstract is required.
