International Tax Senior Manager

Baker Tilly WM LLP is a leading midsize accounting and advisory firm based in Vancouver and Toronto. We provide value-added audit, tax and advisory solutions that support local businesses.

We are currently seeking an International Tax Senior Manager to join our tax practice in Toronto or Vancouver. This role offers the opportunity to work in a range of tax and succession planning areas, including estate & trust compliance, personal and corporate tax planning, purchase and sale of private businesses, estate planning, and cross border investment and compliance.

Your Key Responsibilities
  • Work closely with Tax Partners and other Senior staff on business tax compliance, tax provision and tax advisory engagements.
  • Build and manage client relationships at a senior level, advising clients by delivering high quality tax service and advice.
  • Review and approve technical research, tax planning recommendations for international companies.
  • Review complex corporate, partnership, and trust tax returns and other tax work prepared by staff.
  • Actively mentor and coach staff to their highest potential.
  • Identify client service opportunities.
