We are seeking a highly skilled Payroll Technician to join our team at Fed Finance Canada. As a key member of our payroll team, you will be responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely processing of payroll for our employees.
Key Responsibilities- Process payroll cycles, including integrated portfolio management;
- Administer time management systems, including Agile;
- Manage employee files, including opening, closing, and updating;
- Handle disability, CNESST, maternity/paternity, and group insurance files;
- Process vacation payments, employment insurance applications, time bank, and union dues;
- Contribute to the production of end-of-year reports, including salary declarations, CNESST, and training reports;
- Ensure timely completion of end-of-month payroll activities;
- Provide payroll support and guidance to employees and managers;
- Collaborate with the Human Resources department to obtain, clarify, or correct information;
To be successful in this role, you will require strong analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills. You will also need to be proficient in payroll software and systems.
