About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Painter to join our team at Unideco Commercial & Residential LTD. As a Painter, you will be responsible for ensuring that all surfaces are properly prepared and finished to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Surface Preparation: Prepare, clean and sand surfaces to be painted, ensuring they are free from dust, dirt, and other contaminants.
  • Repair and Maintenance: Repair cracks and holes in surfaces, and perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure surfaces remain in good condition.
  • Paint Application: Mix paint to the desired color and texture, and apply it to interior and exterior surfaces using a variety of techniques.
  • Scaffolding and Rigging: Erect scaffolding and swing stages, and attach rigging as necessary to ensure safe access to surfaces.
  • Quality Control: Inspect finished surfaces to ensure they meet our high standards, and make any necessary adjustments.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a related field.
  • Work Setting: Ability to work in various locations, including commercial and residential settings.
  • Physical Capabilities: Ability to work at heights, lift heavy objects, and perform physically demanding tasks.
  • Language: Fluency in English.
  • Work Hours: 40 hours per week.
