Role Summary

As a Security Solutions Consultant, you will deliver deployment, configuration, and operational support for our clients utilizing Palo Alto Networks products.

Your role will involve acting as a Subject Matter Expert (SME), collaborating closely with a Project Manager to engage directly with the client’s project team, ensuring effective adoption and utilization of our products and services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Guide clients in making informed decisions on product usage aligned with best practices to enhance security.
  • Contribute to the internal Professional Services team by developing innovative principles and concepts.
  • Tackle complex technical challenges and provide creative solutions.
  • Maintain a high level of expertise in Palo Alto Network products and solutions, aligning with your skills and goals.
  • Ensure client requirements are met and deliverables are completed on schedule.
  • Assist clients in deploying, optimizing, and operationalizing our Next-Generation Firewall (NGFW) security solutions.
  • Advise clients on integrating our products into their operational workflows following best practice methodologies.
  • Proactively communicate project status, risks, and issues to the Professional Services Project Manager.
  • Collaborate with Technical Assistance Center (TAC) to troubleshoot and resolve support cases.
  • Adapt to team dynamics, either as a contributor or a leader based on project needs.
  • Fulfill additional tasks as required to support client and business objectives.
Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Experience in migrating from other vendors to Palo Alto using Expedition or Automation.
  • Strong proficiency in Python automation.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience managing security solutions in large-scale environments.
  • Extensive technical experience in deploying, configuring, troubleshooting, and operating high-end firewall appliances, particularly Palo Alto Networks products.
  • Effective communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
  • The ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or equivalent education/training/experience.
