**Summary**

The Security Analyst is a member of GoSecure's MSD Services team. They provide technical consulting service in network security, such as Firewall technology, Antispam or EDR. Also provides expertise in security operations and technical support to various customers. As part of managed security contracts, the Security Analyst configure managed security devices, diagnose network issues, integrate security devices. The Security Analyst recommends best security practices and doesn't hesitate to get customer buy in.

**Duties and responsibilities**
- Provides leadership in coordinating incident mitigation across multiple disciplines and organizations.
- Provides technical consulting services to customers on security controls required for upcoming and/or ongoing enterprise systems.
- Provides level 3 support for our managed network security devices for our clients
- Partners with engineering, operations, and other teams to improve GoSecure's network defense posture.
- Contributes to the deployment and upgrade of security solution architectures.
- Leads meetings to present security solutions and approaches to managed customers.
- Participates in training teammates with best practices and configurations for security devices.
- Participate to the on-call schedule rotation.
- Other duties as required.

**Requirements and experience**
- Bachelor's degree in computer science
- 5 years minimum relevant experience in a similar role
- Certification with Fortinet (NSE7 or higher) or CheckPoint (CCSE or higher)
- Working for at least 4 years with FortiGate or CheckPoint FW
- Experience with Palo Alto or Cisco firewall
- Good working knowledge about network protocol: BGP, OSPF, TCP, UDP, IPv4, IPv6. Good working knowledge of Linux, Windows and MacOS, including the user interface for each of these systems, as well as MS Office products.
- Exceptional ability to multi-task and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and in a collaborative team environment
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Energetic and positive attitude
- Bilingual is considered an asset (French / English)
- Related technical certifications considered an asset
