Site Manager Job Description

BrandSafway is seeking a highly skilled Site Manager to oversee maintenance, turnarounds, and strategic projects in our Regina, Saskatchewan region. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing site teams, ensuring contract compliance, and liaising with clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Safety Management: Lead and oversee safety onsite, ensuring all plans, training, mentorship, and risk management comply with company and federal/provincial safety rules.
  • Operational Management: Identify and manage all operational aspects of the job, including labor, equipment, consumables, materials, asset management, and sub-contract requirements.
  • Project Planning: Develop project plans, such as mobilization, construction execution, workforce management, change management, EH&S, demobilization, and quality management.
  • Financial Management: Maintain, track, and report all financial aspects of the site, including forecasts, key KPIs, revenue recognition, and billings.
  • Performance Monitoring: Monitor site performance through regular reviews and lead site meetings to support ongoing progression.
  • Risk Management: Ensure potential contractual and project risks are properly identified at bidding stage and managed/mitigated throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Performance Evaluation: Conduct effective performance evaluations and provide mentorship.

Requirements:

  • Post-secondary education in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
  • PMP designation is an asset.
  • Knowledge of maintenance terms, scheduling and planning concepts, engineering drawings, contracts, change control, and document control.
  • Ability to understand and interpret contracts.
  • Excellent oral, written, and presentation skills to effectively communicate branch office business strategy and corresponding operating procedures.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office Skills (MS Project, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
