Responsibilities:- Collect medical information from patients and their families to understand their health needs.
- Examine patients to identify diseases and injuries, and develop treatment plans to address their health concerns.
- Order laboratory tests and diagnostic procedures to determine the most appropriate medical treatment.
- Consult with other medical professionals to evaluate patients' physical and mental health.
- Prescribe and administer medications and treatments as needed.
- Provide counseling and support to patients and their families on a wide range of health and lifestyle issues.
- College of Family Physicians Certification (CCFP)
- Licentiate of the Medical Council of Canada (LMCC)
- Licensure by provincial or territorial authorities
- Medical Council of Canada Qualifying Examination (MCCQE I and MCCQE II)
