Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Accounting Technician to join our team at CB Canada. As an Accounting Technician, you will be responsible for preparing, recording, and verifying client payments, as well as maintaining accurate financial records.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and record client payments, including cash, checks, credit card, and bank transfers
  • Assist with opening new client accounts and providing login information
  • Send invoices and statements to clients via email
  • Maintain and update client files, including changes to name and address
  • Assist with accounts receivable calls to clients, resolving customer inquiries and discrepancies
  • Print and code invoices, track approvals, and ensure accuracy
  • Match invoices to purchase orders and verify validity
  • Prepare payment batches
  • Perform other related tasks as assigned
Requirements
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in French and English
  • Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to anticipate needs and interact professionally with clients and suppliers
  • Organized and detail-oriented
  • Intermediate level proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word
