Job Title: Cashier

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Cashier to join our team at Steve Madden. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a high level of product knowledge, and ensuring a seamless shopping experience for our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide outstanding customer service, addressing customer inquiries and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Maintain a high level of product knowledge, including current sales, promotions, and product features.
  • Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently, handling cash, credit card, and other payment methods.
  • Assist customers with finding products, answering questions, and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Work collaboratively with the sales team to achieve sales goals and objectives.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 1-2 years of retail experience.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Pay Range: $16-$19/hr. Actual rate will be determined based on candidate's skill sets, years of experience, and other job-related factors.
