Job Overview

This co-op opportunity is part of our Residential Energy Product Development team, which focuses on developing next-generation technologies for residential energy applications.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and improve mechanical designs for residential energy products.
  • Analyze customer requirements and market trends to inform product development decisions.
  • Design and optimize mechanical components for improved performance, reliability, and manufacturability.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications, test reports, and engineering records.

Requirements

  • Enrolled in an undergraduate program in Mechanical or Electro-Mechanical Engineering (2nd, 3rd, and 4th year students).
  • Prior experience with product design, preferably in the context of residential energy applications.
  • Proficiency in CAD software, such as PTC Creo Parametric/PDM.
  • Understanding of engineering design principles, including structural integrity, thermal performance, material selection, and manufacturing processes.
