Job DescriptionThe Medical Practitioner and Generalist will be responsible for consulting with other medical practitioners to evaluate patients' physical and mental health, prescribing and administering medications and treatments, inoculating and vaccinating patients to prevent and treat diseases, advising patients on healthcare, and reporting births, deaths, contagious and other diseases to government authorities.
- Work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care
- Develop and implement treatment plans tailored to individual patients' needs
To be successful in this role, you will require:
- A degree in medicine, dentistry, veterinary medicine, or optometry
- Licensure by provincial or territorial authorities
- Licentiate of the Medical Council of Canada (LMCC)
