Job Summary

Cedent Consulting is seeking a seasoned Software Development Manager to lead our software engineering team in delivering high-quality products to market. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for building and managing a high-performing team, ensuring the adoption of best practices, and driving the development of our software products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Team Leadership: Build and manage a high-performing software engineering team, providing guidance, coaching, and mentorship to team members.
  • Process Improvement: Ensure the adoption of best practices, such as Agile methodologies, to drive efficiency and quality in software development.
  • Product Development: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and deliver software products that meet customer needs and business objectives.
  • Technical Expertise: Stay up-to-date with industry trends and technologies, and provide technical guidance to team members.
  • Communication: Effectively communicate with stakeholders, including senior leadership, product management, and customers, to ensure alignment and satisfaction.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • Experience: Seven years of experience in software development, with at least three years of experience leading Agile software engineering teams.
  • Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and technical skills, with experience in continuous integration and continuous deployment, pipelines, and automation.
