Job Description

This is a high-level leadership position within Orthotic Holdings Inc. (OHI), responsible for overseeing the order to shipment process at our Markham facility.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the entire order to shipment process, including receiving, order entry, manufacturing, repair, and shipping of all products manufactured, handled, and distributed from the Markham facility.
  • Ensure quality of product and service through effective management of processes and personnel.
  • Oversee material and contract supplier management, including purchasing/procurement, shop floor planning, and inventory control/reconciliation.
  • Lead and develop people leaders and individual contributors to achieve operational excellence.
  • Maintain facility security and coordinate maintenance to ensure the building meets business needs.
Requirements:
  1. 10+ years of production management experience managing supervisors and direct shop floor reports.
  2. Experience with formal Quality Management System standards in a controlled industry such as medical devices, food, pharma, aerospace.
  3. Direct or indirect Supply Chain Management experience in purchasing, inventory control, shop floor planning, and/or logistics.
  4. Demonstrated ability to lead LEAN manufacturing initiatives and implement cost-saving measures.
  5. Strong understanding of various manufacturing costing models and project management principles.
  6. Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Business Administration; technical degree or equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
Compensation and Benefits:

The estimated salary for this position is $120,000 - $150,000 per annum, depending on experience. Additionally, OHI offers a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement savings plan, and paid time off.
