About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Operations Director to join our team at Give & Go Prepared Foods. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in production management, with a focus on efficiency, quality, and employee development.

Job Summary

The Operations Director will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our manufacturing operations, including production scheduling, inventory management, equipment maintenance, and employee supervision. This is a leadership role that requires a high level of organizational and communication skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Production Scheduling: Develop and implement production schedules to ensure timely and efficient completion of tasks.
  • Inventory Management: Oversee the maintenance of accurate and up-to-date inventory records, ensuring that we always have sufficient stock levels to meet customer demand.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Plan and implement regular equipment maintenance schedules to prevent downtime and optimize performance.
  • Employee Supervision: Hire, train, and develop a team of skilled production staff, providing ongoing coaching and support to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to excel in their roles.
  • Quality Control: Implement and maintain effective quality control procedures to ensure that our products meet the highest standards of quality and safety.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as business, engineering, or operations management.
  • Experience: At least 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) industry.
  • Skills: Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team. Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary for this role is $120,000 per year, plus a range of benefits, including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
