We are seeking an experienced and skilled Executive Sous Chef to join our culinary team at Plant Riverside District. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional dining experiences to our guests.
Key ResponsibilitiesYour primary responsibilities will include:
- Developing and implementing effective strategies to drive sales and revenue growth.
- Leading a high-performing team of cooks and stewards, providing guidance and support to ensure excellent service delivery.
- Maintaining accurate records of recipes, ingredient usage, and menu planning to ensure consistency and efficiency.
- Collaborating with the Executive Chef to develop new menu ideas and improve existing offerings.
- Ensuring adherence to health and safety standards, maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment.
- Monitoring inventory levels, controlling costs, and managing labor schedules to optimize resource allocation.
To be successful in this role, you must possess:
- A culinary degree or related training equivalent in the Hospitality/Restaurant Industry.
- At least 2+ years of relevant work experience in a similar scope and title.
- Experience within luxury brand/markets is preferred.
- A Food Safety Manager Certification is preferred or attainable within 30 days.
