About the Job

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Executive Sous Chef to join our culinary team at Plant Riverside District. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional dining experiences to our guests.

Key Responsibilities

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  1. Developing and implementing effective strategies to drive sales and revenue growth.
  2. Leading a high-performing team of cooks and stewards, providing guidance and support to ensure excellent service delivery.
  3. Maintaining accurate records of recipes, ingredient usage, and menu planning to ensure consistency and efficiency.
  4. Collaborating with the Executive Chef to develop new menu ideas and improve existing offerings.
  5. Ensuring adherence to health and safety standards, maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment.
  6. Monitoring inventory levels, controlling costs, and managing labor schedules to optimize resource allocation.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must possess:

  1. A culinary degree or related training equivalent in the Hospitality/Restaurant Industry.
  2. At least 2+ years of relevant work experience in a similar scope and title.
  3. Experience within luxury brand/markets is preferred.
  4. A Food Safety Manager Certification is preferred or attainable within 30 days.
