The Environment Practice is a rapidly growing division that provides full-service solutions to clients across various sectors, including oil and gas, mining, transportation, governments, and municipalities. Our Hydrogeology team members boast decades of experience, many holding post-graduate degrees in hydrogeology.

We're seeking an experienced Intermediate Hydrogeologist to work on diverse projects such as infrastructure development, mining operations, soil and groundwater contamination remediation, groundwater resource management, and environmental assessments.

Your role within the team:

  1. Support senior staff in preparing proposals and developing work plans and budgets.
  2. Plan, coordinate, and provide support for field work programs, including drilling, groundwater monitoring and sampling, hydraulic conductivity testing, and private well survey and potable water sampling.
  3. Coordinate resources and arrange equipment and supplies, as well as laboratory services.
  4. Prepare field work packages, including health and safety plans and work plans.
  5. Process and interpret groundwater monitoring and sampling, and hydraulic conductivity testing data and results.
  6. Estimate dewatering zone of influence and water taking volumes/rates.
  7. Prepare technical reports.
  8. Prepare or support applications for water taking permits, including Permit to Take Water (PTTW) and Environmental Activity and Sector Registry (EASR) and permits to discharge.
  9. Ensure implementation and continued use of corporate policies, procedures, and systems, including health and safety, quality management, and ethics and compliance.
