Responsibilities:

* Provide clinical training and mentorship to nurses in supervised practice status
* Collaborate with the Clinical Educator to develop and implement educational programs
* Promote a supportive environment for educational activities
* Enhance knowledge transfer and integration of best practices into daily work
* Support continuous quality improvement in clinical practice

Requirements:

* RN in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario
* Certification in Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) required
* Certification in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) preferred
* Certification in telemetry training required
* Certification in Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) preferred
* Certification in Gentle Persuasive Approach (GPA) an asset
* Certification in Non-Violent Crisis Prevention & Intervention (CPI) an asset
* Completion of 12 lead ECG and cardiac rhythm interpretation certification required

Compensation and Benefits:

* Rate of pay ranges from $37.93 to $54.37, as per the ONA Collective Agreement
* Eligibility to enroll in the HEALTHCARE OF ONTARIO PENSION PLAN (HOOPP)
* Percent in lieu of benefits and vacation percentage paid out bi-weekly, up to 18% as per the ONA Collective Agreement
