Primary Care Physician

We are seeking a highly skilled Primary Care Physician to join our team at Newfoundland and Labrador Health Services - Central Zone. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and working collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:- Collect and analyze medical information from patients and other healthcare professionals to inform diagnosis and treatment plans.
- Conduct thorough physical examinations to identify diseases and injuries, and develop effective treatment plans.
- Prescribe and administer medications and treatments as needed, and provide patients with clear instructions and guidance.
- Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and ensure seamless transitions between different levels of care.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest medical research and best practices to provide patients with the most effective and evidence-based care.
- Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.) degree from an accredited medical school.
- Current licensure to practice medicine in the province of Newfoundland and Labrador.
- Experience working in a primary care setting, preferably in a rural or underserved area.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals.
