We are seeking a highly skilled Primary Care Physician to join our team at Newfoundland and Labrador Health Services - Central Zone. As a Family Medicine Specialist, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive primary care to patients of all ages, from routine check-ups to managing chronic conditions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collect and document patient medical information, including medical history, allergies, and medications
  • Conduct physical examinations and order diagnostic tests as needed
  • Develop and implement treatment plans to address patient health concerns
  • Prescribe and administer medications, as well as provide vaccinations and other preventive care
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest medical research and best practices to provide high-quality care

Requirements:

  • Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.) degree
  • Valid medical license
  • Experience in family medicine or a related field
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
