Job Opportunity at Capital Plumbing and Heating

We are seeking a skilled and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Plumbing and HVAC Maintenance Technician. As a key member of our front-line team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction with our residential mechanical systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform scheduled customer home visits to offer assistance with plumbing and heating services
  • Test, troubleshoot, and complete minor repairs to mechanical equipment such as furnaces, motors, hot water tanks, humidifiers, and air conditioners
  • Provide intelligent and ethical recommendations for products and service options to customers to enhance their families' comfort in their home
  • Work safely and effectively with both your brain and your hands
  • Communicate clearly and professionally in English
  • Capable of lifting 35lbs correctly and safely as well as traversing stairs and ladders
  • Reliable vehicle and relatively clear driving record
  • Willing and able to work an after-hours 'on-call' shift on a rotational basis
  • Able to pass a criminal background check

Requirements:

  • Journeyman/woman trade certificate and/or a certificate in plumbing and/or gas-fitting (or in the process of completing)
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong organizational and detail-orientation skills
  • Enthusiastic and motivated by personal pride and craftsmanship
  • Excellent customer service skills

What We Offer:

We provide a competitive compensation package consisting of wages, overtime, bonuses, potential commissions, and an exceptional benefits plan. You can make significantly more than $100K with the right attitude and skillset within our team. We also offer supplemental training and development options in-house and through our vendors within the plumbing trade and other mechanical trades.
