Job Title: Process Engineer

About the Role:

IKO Industries Ltd. is a leading manufacturer of roofing and building materials, with a strong commitment to quality, integrity, and trustworthiness. We are seeking a highly skilled Process Engineer to join our team in Brampton, Ontario.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance process efficiency, reduce waste, and improve product quality.
  • Analyze production downtime and develop strategies to minimize its impact.
  • Develop and implement Standard Operating Procedures and Visual Work Instructions to ensure consistency and accuracy.
  • Design and implement industrial trials to test new processes and technologies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize process improvement opportunities.
  • Develop and manage project plans to achieve process improvements and cost savings.
  • Ensure site compliance with corporate process standards and best practices.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience in Process/Industrial or Mechanical Engineering.
  • Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering.
  • Proven track record of successful project management and process improvement initiatives.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate complex ideas effectively.
  • Excellent leadership and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
