The Financial Record Specialist role at InsureLine Broker involves managing and maintaining accurate financial records, including ledgers and financial statements. This position requires strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
  • Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll
  • Calculate fixed assets and depreciation
  • Keep financial records and establish, maintain and balance various accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems
  • Maintain general ledgers and financial statements
  • Post journal entries
  • Prepare other statistical, financial and accounting reports
  • Prepare tax returns
  • Prepare trial balance of books
  • Reconcile accounts

As an Accounting Professional, you will be responsible for maintaining the financial health of the company. This includes ensuring all financial records are accurate and up-to-date, as well as preparing financial reports for management.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in accounting or bookkeeping
  • Urban area work setting
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
