We are seeking a skilled and experienced Kitchen Supervisor to join our team at Cha Baa Thai Restaurant Ltd.
Job Summary:The Kitchen Supervisor will be responsible for supervising and coordinating the activities of kitchen staff, ensuring that food is prepared and served to the highest standards. The successful candidate will have excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise and coordinate the activities of kitchen staff, including cooks, food service counter attendants, and kitchen helpers.
- Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures.
- Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation.
- Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards.
- Prepare budget and cost estimates.
- Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
- Prepare food order summaries for the chef.
- Safe Food Handling certificate.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift heavy objects.
The Kitchen Supervisor will work in a fast-paced kitchen environment, with exposure to hot temperatures, noise, and odors. The successful candidate must be able to work in a physically demanding environment and maintain a high level of attention to detail.
