Culinary Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Culinary Specialist to join our team at Thai Pinto Cuisine. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes and foods, as well as training staff in preparation, cooking and handling of food.
Key Responsibilities:- Food Preparation: Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods, adhering to high standards of quality and presentation.
- Training and Development: Train kitchen staff in preparation, cooking and handling of food, ensuring they have the skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
- Inventory Management: Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment, ensuring that we have the necessary resources to meet our culinary needs.
- Cleaning and Maintenance: Clean kitchen and work areas, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for our staff and customers.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: Experience an asset.
- Work Setting: Restaurant.
- Criminal Record Check: Required.
- Basic Security Clearance: Required.
- Attention to Detail: Essential.
- Fast-Paced Environment: You will be working in a fast-paced environment, so you must be able to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Handling Heavy Loads: You will be required to lift and move heavy loads, so you must be physically fit and able to handle this type of work.
- Physically Demanding: This role is physically demanding, so you must be able to stand for extended periods and perform tasks that require physical effort.
- Standing for Extended Periods: You will be required to stand for extended periods, so you must be able to do so comfortably and safely.
