Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to support our Private Wealth team. As a key member of our team, you will provide exceptional client service, coordinate marketing activities, and assist with day-to-day administration.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate marketing activities, including website updates, social media initiatives, and client recognition programs.
  • Assist the advisory team in preparing for client meetings, including scheduling appointments and generating reports.
  • Handle clients' general requests and inquiries, including basic money movement, technology issues, and account opening and updates.
  • Maintain and organize client database and files, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information.
  • Provide support to team members on technology issues, use of new technology, and general inquiries and escalations.
  • Develop rapport and instill confidence with clients to develop credibility and promote a positive client experience.
  • Follow through on risk and compliance processes and policies to ensure the safeguarding of clients' assets and maintenance of their privacy.
Requirements
  • Typically between 1-2 years of relevant experience and a post-secondary degree in a related field of study, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Knowledge of wealth management company and branch operations, including client services, trust services, and account transfers.
  • Familiarity with technology applications and software used in the financial planning and investment industry.
  • Successful completion of the Canadian Securities Course and the Conduct and Practices Handbook exam within 18 months from date of hire.
  • Basic specialized knowledge and good verbal and written communication skills.
What We Offer

BMO offers a competitive salary range of $38,000.00 - $40,000.00, with the potential for a monthly discretionary bonus. Our total compensation package includes performance-based incentives, health insurance, tuition reimbursement, accident and life insurance, and retirement savings plans.
