About the Job

We are seeking a skilled and experienced carpenter to join our team at ECO-BUILD CONSTRUCTION. As a carpenter, you will be responsible for constructing, repairing, and installing structures and fixtures made of wood, wood substitutes, and other materials.

Key Responsibilities
  • Construction and Installation: Read blueprints, drawings, and sketches to determine work requirements; prepare layouts in conformance to building codes, using measuring tools; measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials.
  • Supervision and Teamwork: Supervise other workers and ensure that projects are completed on time and to the required standard.
  • Work Environment and Conditions: Work at heights, in noisy environments, and outdoors; handle heavy loads and perform tasks that require bending, crouching, kneeling, and a combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate and 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in the trade.
  • Language and Work Environment: English language proficiency and ability to work in a fast-paced construction environment.
