About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Framing Carpenter to join our team at ECO-BUILD CONSTRUCTION. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for ensuring the structural integrity of our buildings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches to determine work requirements
  • Prepare layouts and measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, and other materials
  • Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems
  • Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware
  • Supervise and lead other workers on site
Work Environment

As a Framing Carpenter, you will work at heights, in noisy environments, and outdoors. You will be required to handle heavy loads and work in a combination of sitting, standing, and walking positions.

Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in the trade
  • Ability to work at heights, in noisy environments, and outdoors
  • Physical ability to handle heavy loads and work in a combination of sitting, standing, and walking positions
What We Offer
