Farm Supervisor Job Description

JB AND SONS FARM LTD. is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Farm Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our farm operations, you will be responsible for coordinating and supervising the work of general farm workers and harvesting labourers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Co-ordinate and supervise the work of general farm workers and harvesting labourers to ensure efficient and effective farm operations.
  • Ensure farm safety and bio-security procedures are followed at all times to maintain a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Maintain accurate quality control and production records to track farm performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Supervise and oversee breeding and other livestock-related programs to ensure optimal animal health and productivity.
  • Supervise and oversee growing and other crop-related operations to ensure maximum crop yields and quality.
  • Work closely with the farm management team to develop and implement strategies to improve farm efficiency and productivity.

Requirements:

  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in farm operations or a related field.
  • Or equivalent experience.

Working Conditions:

  • Permanent position.
  • 30 to 40 hours per week.
  • English language required.
