Estate Litigation Legal Administrative Assistant

Arlyn Recruiting is seeking a highly skilled and organized Estate Litigation Legal Administrative Assistant to join our team in Vancouver, BC, Canada. As a key member of our legal team, you will play a crucial role in supporting estate litigation cases, ensuring adherence to legal processes and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with managing and supporting estate litigation cases, ensuring timely and efficient completion of tasks.
  • Draft and prepare legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and affidavits, as required by the legal team.
  • Conduct thorough legal research to support case preparation and strategy development.
  • Maintain and organize legal files and documentation using Microsoft Word and Outlook, ensuring easy access to critical information.
  • Manage scheduling and calendar for court dates, meetings, and deadlines, ensuring seamless time management.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, witnesses, and experts to collect and relay relevant information as needed.
  • Support administrative operations, including file management, presentation preparation, and maintaining correspondence.
Essential Qualifications:
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in estate litigation or a related legal field.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Outlook, with strong calendar management skills.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities to manage various case files and administrative tasks.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to interact effectively with clients and colleagues.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Desired Experience:
  • Experience working within a legal firm focusing on estate litigation.
  • Familiarity with administrative operations related to legal practices.
  • Knowledge of relevant legal procedures, documentation, and courtroom protocols.
What We Offer:
  • Salary Range: $55,000 - $70,000 CAD annually, commensurate with experience.
