About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Automotive Technician to join our team at High River Toyota. As a key member of our service department, you will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks to ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Vehicle Diagnostics and Repairs: Diagnose and repair vehicle malfunctions in a timely and efficient manner, adhering to dealership and factory standards.
  • Quality Control: Conduct road tests to verify service quality and ensure that all repairs meet our high standards.
  • Customer Communication: Provide written, prioritized quotes for any additional necessary work and inform service advisors and customers about any additional maintenance required.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Maintain company and personal equipment and tools in good condition.
  • Professional Development: Stay up-to-date with the maintenance and repair procedures for all makes and models.
  • Health and Safety: Comply with dealership health & safety programs and provincial occupational health & safety regulations.
Requirements and Competencies
  • Mechanical Background: A strong mechanical background and knowledge of vehicle systems.
  • Valid Driver's License: A valid driver's license and clean driver's abstract.
  • Clean Police Information Check: A clean police information check.
  • Proof of License/Credentials: Proof of license/credentials.
  • Personal Tools: Personal tools for the job.
  • Professional Customer Service Skills: Excellent professional customer service skills.
  • Efficiency in a Fast-Paced Environment: Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Toyota Experience: Toyota experience and out-of-province permit are assets.
