About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Structural Engineer to join our team at Stantec, a leading global design and engineering firm. As a Structural Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing structural systems for buildings, bridges, and other infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop structural systems for buildings, bridges, and other infrastructure projects
  • Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure compliance with design specifications and building codes
  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to develop and implement project plans
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including design calculations, reports, and presentations
  • Provide technical guidance and support to project teams and clients
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments, building codes, and regulatory requirements
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in structural engineering, preferably in a consulting firm
  • Strong knowledge of building codes, structural analysis, and design software (e.g. SAFE, ADA, Etabs)
  • Excellent communication and project management skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Fluency in English and French (written and spoken)
