About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Structural Engineer to join our team at DPHV - Structural Consultants. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and analyzing structures in the building, energy, and telecommunication infrastructure sectors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Participate in start-up meetings and technical coordination with team members
  • Design structures or buildings, towers, pylons, or other power transmission or telecommunication structures and infrastructure
  • Design and verify foundations
  • Write structural analysis reports
  • Participate in coordinating the layout of engineering drawings with draftsmen and ensure the quality of deliverables
  • Participate in the implementation and improvement of innovative methods and tools, thus contributing to process optimization
  • May, depending on the candidate's interest, carry out surveys/inspections of structures at height
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in civil or building engineering, structural option
  • One to 3 years' relevant experience - experience in the consulting engineering field in Quebec will be considered an asset
  • Knowledge of ETABS, SAP, and SAFE software
  • Valid ASP card
  • SPRAT, tower rescue, and work at height certifications (asset)
  • Driver's license and access to a vehicle for work-related travel (asset)
