Compensation: $20 – $24/hour (full-time / permanent)

The Job: Contents Technician

As a Contents Technician, you'll be responsible for working with customers to restore personal and commercial items to their pre-disaster state. This includes packing and cataloging contents from disaster-affected areas, creating inventory lists, and using Encircle Restoration Software. You'll also be responsible for cleaning contents and structures, as well as cleaning fabrics and textiles.

What You Bring:

  • An optimistic outlook and a desire to help others
  • Exceptional organizational skills
  • Physical fitness (ability to lift, carry, and pack boxes) and a willingness to follow all company safety requirements
  • A valid driver's license and clean driving abstract
  • The ability to successfully satisfy On Side's criminal record check requirements
  • Intermediate-level English communication skills

Past Industry Experience:

Hotel, hotel housekeeper, tourism, hospitality, dry cleaning, laundry services, restaurant, restaurant manager, supervisor, server, customer service, waitress, waiter, bartender, bartending, banquet, concierge, travel, tour guide, sales, industrial or commercial cleaner, mover, packer.

  • Ability to communicate effectively in English, both written and verbal

Of Note:

Disasters can strike at any time, so a rotating schedule of 24/7 after-hours on-call work is a requirement.
