We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Childcare Educator to join our team at Green Sprout Childcare Ltd. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in creating a nurturing and engaging environment for our young learners.

Key Responsibilities
  • Child Development: Assess the children's development to prepare a learning plan tailored to their needs.
  • Program Development: Develop and implement child-care programs that support and promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children.
  • Staff Supervision: Supervise staff, trainees, or volunteers to ensure a smooth and efficient operation.
  • Activity Leadership: Lead activities by telling or reading stories, teaching songs, and taking children to local points of interest.
  • Encouraging Creativity: Encourage children to express creativity through art, dramatic play, music, and physical activity.
  • Guidance and Support: Guide and assist children in developing proper eating, dressing, and toilet habits.
  • Observation and Reporting: Observe children for signs of potential learning or behavioral problems and prepare reports for parents, guardians, or supervisors.
  • Knowledge of Regulations: Knowledge of licensing regulations to ensure compliance.
  • Establishing Guidelines: Establish guidelines for behavior and maintain a safe and healthy environment.
  • Collaboration: Establish and maintain collaborative relationships with co-workers and community service providers working with children.
  • Environment Maintenance: Plan and maintain an environment that protects the health, security, and well-being of children.
  • Supervision and Coordination: Supervise and coordinate activities of other early childhood educators and early childhood educator assistants.
Requirements
  • Certifications: Early Childhood Education (ECE) Certificate.
  • Area of Specialization: Pre-school education.
  • Security and Safety: Criminal record check, immunization records, and tuberculosis test.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
  • Personal Suitability: Efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral communication, reliability, team player, and honesty.
