We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Retail Store Supervisor to join our team at Mahalakshmi enterprises Inc.
Job Summary:The Retail Store Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our retail store, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively. This includes supervising staff, assigning duties, hiring and training new employees, and maintaining a high level of customer service.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise and coordinate the activities of sales staff, ensuring that all tasks are completed to a high standard.
- Assign sales staff to duties, taking into account their skills and abilities.
- Hire and train new employees, ensuring that they are equipped to perform their roles effectively.
- Maintain a high level of customer service, ensuring that all customers receive a positive experience.
- Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters.
- Resolve any issues that may arise, including customer complaints and supply shortages.
- Organize and maintain inventory, ensuring that all stock is up-to-date and accurate.
- Manage cash and maintain a secure and organized cash handling system.
- Conduct performance reviews, providing feedback and guidance to staff.
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a retail environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask.
- Flexibility and ability to work a variety of shifts.
The Retail Store Supervisor will work in a fast-paced retail environment, with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking. The role requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work in a team environment.
Language:The primary language of work is English.Hours of Work:
32 hours per week.
