About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager to join our team at Smith + Andersen. As a key member of our electrical engineering group, you will be responsible for leading electrical engineering projects from concept to completion.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and manage electrical engineering concepts and designs for various projects.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including architects, interior designers, and other engineers, to ensure seamless project delivery.
  • Review and manage electrical engineering designs to ensure compliance with relevant codes and standards.
  • Prepare and review electrical engineering reports, calculations, and specifications.
  • Coordinate with contractors and vendors to ensure timely completion of projects.
  • Manage and maintain accurate records of project progress and deliverables.
  • Develop and implement electrical engineering standards and best practices within the company.
Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience in electrical engineering, preferably in a project management role.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency in electrical engineering software and tools, including AutoCAD and Revit.
  • Knowledge of relevant electrical codes and standards, including the National Electrical Code (NEC) and the Canadian Electrical Code (CEC).
  • LEED certification or experience with sustainable design is an asset.
