TAVARES MASONRY LTD. is seeking a skilled Bricklayer to join our team.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a reliable and physically demanding Bricklayer to work on various construction projects. The ideal candidate will have experience in laying bricks, stone, and similar materials, as well as working at heights and with heavy loads.

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and lay bricks, concrete blocks, and structural tiles
  • Lay bricks, stone, or similar materials to provide veneer facing
  • Construct and install prefabricated masonry units
  • Work at heights, on scaffolding, or swing stages
  • Cut and trim bricks and concrete blocks to specification using hand and power tools
  • Lay radial bricks to build masonry shells of industrial chimneys
  • Lay or install firebricks to line industrial chimneys and smokestacks
Requirements:
  • 5 years or more of experience in the field
  • Ability to work in a physically demanding environment
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Reliability and accuracy
