Concrete Mason

We are seeking a skilled Concrete Mason to join our team at Imeneo Construction Ltd. As a Concrete Mason, you will be responsible for laying and finishing concrete to create a strong and durable foundation for our construction projects.
Key Responsibilities:- Check formwork, granular base, and steel reinforcement materials to ensure they meet specifications.
- Direct the placement of concrete into forms or onto surfaces according to grade.
- Fill hollows and remove spots on freshly poured cement to achieve a smooth finish.
- Operate power vibrators to compact concrete and ensure it is properly set.
- Level the top surface of concrete according to grade and depth specification.
- Work at heights, on scaffolding, or swing stages to complete tasks safely and efficiently.
- Impart a desired finish to concrete surfaces using hand and power tools.
- Install anchor bolts, steel plates, door sills, and other fixtures as required.
- Apply hardening and sealing components to cure surfaces and prevent damage.
- Waterproof, damp proof, and restore surfaces to ensure a long-lasting finish.
- Repair, resurface, and replace worn or damaged sections of concrete structures.
- This role is physically demanding and requires handling heavy loads.
- Bending, crouching, kneeling, and standing for extended periods are also required.
- Attention to detail is essential to ensure high-quality work.
